This high-quality O-ring made of FPM (fluorocarbon rubber / Viton quality) is the essential component for the reliable sealing of your TAMPOPRINT ink cup system. It serves as a flexible sealing element between the doctor blade ring and the ink cup housing, reliably preventing ink leakage and air ingress.

In contrast to standard gaskets, FPM offers significantly higher resistance to aggressive media, which is crucial in pad printing.

 Key benefits for your production:

  •  Highest chemical resistance: FPM is extremely resistant to almost all solvents, thinners, retarders and ink systems (including 2-component inks) used in pad printing.
  •  No swelling: The material's dimensional stability prevents the ring from swelling, which could otherwise lead to breakage of the sensitive ceramic or carbide ink cup ring.
  •  Temperature resistance: Even during extended operating times and the associated frictional heat, the material remains elastic and dense.
  •  Long service life: Reduces maintenance effort, as the sealing ring needs to be replaced less often than conventional rubber rings.

 Technical specifications:

CharacteristicValue material FPM (fluorocarbon rubber) System size 90 mm compatibility TAMPOPRINT (90-ink system) resistance Excellent against solvents, oils and chemicals function Static seal between ink cup ring and pot

 ⚠️ Important assembly instructions:

Whenever you replace the ink cup ring (blade), also check the condition of this sealing ring. An old, brittle, or deformed O-ring can cause the ink cup ring to not sit flush or to be under tension, which can lead to leaks or even breakage of the ink cup ring.

 💡 Our tip:

It is best to always order this sealing ring together with your new carbide or ceramic ink cup ring to ensure smooth installation and immediate sealing.
